HOLIDAY STYLE SERIES: HAPPY HOUR

Well, the turkey's been cut and the stuffing's been stuffed, so now it's time to focus on...holiday party season! Over the next several weeks I will bring you looks to get you in the spirit, and hopefully inspire some of your holiday style this season.

*I teamed up with the uber talented Katrina of KATRINA DAVIS PHOTOGRAPHY on this holiday style series.

What are the holidays without some sparkle, right?! This look is a good way to kick off the holiday party season for a dinner date, post work holiday happy hour or any occasion where you want to show you are in the spirit without being totally committed to the season just yet :)

The fun pencil skirt & denim top around the waist makes the look classic enough for everyday, but the bejeweled sweater adds the perfect touch to kick it up for this festive time of year.

Where would you wear this outfit?

WEARING: j crew top (option 1,2,3) zara skirt (CUTE OPTION), jean michel cazabat pumps, thrifted clutch, TARGET BLUE AVIATORS

#ITSBANANA

Before I started my current job, I got to treat myself to some 100% necessary retail therapy because my current gig is my only gig with a dress code.
I headed straight to Banana and stocked up on some goodies including everything you see here.
I had fun doing the whole business casual thing in the beginning, but now I think I'm over it. Ha! Or maybe I just need to go on another spree at Banana to get me excited about dressing up again.

GOOD WILL, GOOD FORTUNE

Back to outfit posts and starting fresh with a crisp white button down and an oldie but goodie, thrifted skirt in colors that are both fall and Halloween appropriate.
I got this skirt from my favorite Goodwill in Atlanta (Norcross) for $3. I thought I misplaced it during my move to California but low and behold I found at my spare closet at my parent's house! I love it when that happens. I feel like I went shopping without spending any money :)
And about the shirt, I believe when you find a white shirt that you like you need to buy it in multiples because you know they don't last very long. Or maybe that's just a problem I have because I wear them on repeat! How do you keep your white shirts bright and avoid those annoying armpit stains?

WEARING: gap white shirt (SIMILAR SIMILAR both $39) thrifted skirt & clutch (Goodwill), ISOLA BRIANNA SANDAL ON SALE FOR $60
WORN TO: work & church
