I'm baaaaaaack, and still on cloud 9. Mykonos, and especially Santorini, are even more beautiful in person than they are in pictures, and as unbelievable as that sounds, I am not exaggerating. My posts for the next couple of weeks will show you what I wore (of course) and take you through some of my journey.
After 3 flights, 15 hours in the air, nearly 20 hours of total travel time and a 10 hour time difference, all I wanted to do when I finally made it to Mykonos was...HIT THE BEACH. Yes, I was in desperate need of a
full night's sleep nap but who naps in a bed when you can nap on the beach overlooking the Aegean Sea?
WEARING: target cover-up and hot pink BIKINI
WORN TO: Platis Gialos Beach
(the beach, the pool)
**Simply Chic Travel Tip: Mykonos**
People think of Mykonos as a party island, but it's a great place to unwind if you stay near the beach instead of in Mykonos Town AND if you choose the right hotel. If you are looking for luxury accommodations THE MYCONIAN AMBASSADOR is your place! There is a very zen quality about this property, not to mention there is a beautiful spa on site (with complementary services depending on your package) a fabulous pool and a staff that will bend over backwards to make sure all your needs are met. Staying here has a lot to do with why this island was so great!
