geek chic: GlassesUSA.com

For those who celebrate, I hope you had a Merry Christmas! Mine was very relaxing because for the first time in a long time I didn't have to travel and it was nice to lounge around in my pj's with a good book and my new GLASSES courtesy of GlassesUSA.com
Most people are shocked to find out that I wear PRESCRIPTION GLASSES because I normally only wear them at work when I'm in front of the computer and for this reason, I never really invested in a cute pair. But as my vision gets worse and I am more dependent on my EYEGLASSES I decided to actually get some that I'm not embarrassed to be seen in.

My experience with GlassesUSA was excellent. I never would have thought to BUY GLASSES online, because how do you make the right choice without being able to try them on? Luckily GlassesUSA offers what is honestly my favorite part about the company, a virtual mirror (try it out below)! You can upload a picture from your computer or use your webcam and try on as many glasses as you want from the comfort of your own home! Not to mention they also offer 100% satisfaction guarantee i.e. no risk involved...

So from MY FRAMES, to designers such as Tom Ford and Coach, there is something for everyone, all at affordable prices! Enter code NEWLOOK for 50% off until 12/31. Happy Shopping!

the hair: tell me what you think

This was going to be a #TBT post, but these photos are not true throwbacks (they were taken in July) I just feel like they are because my hair was significantly longer than it is now.
I got a pretty sizable trim about 2 months ago and I was totally ok with it, until stumbling upon these pictures, and now I miss this length :( But on the other hand, something is telling me to go even shorter and get a bob
I'll be saying goodbye to my 20's in the blink of an eye and I have never had a haircut....only trims meaning  no more than 2 inches at a time. That's crazy right? Most adults cut their hair at some point  before 30 I would assume. So maybe now is the time. What do you guys think? Should I go for it and do a bob or leave it alone so it can get back to this length sooner than later?

Here's my hair at various lengths (LONGEST,IN THE MIDDLE,SHORTEST) to help you, help me decide.

alice+olivia

If you look at my last few posts, you would think green is my favorite color. It's not. Actually, when it comes to clothes, I don't have a favorite color unless grey counts.

Anyway, I've had this ALICE + OLIVIA dress for years and this is only my second time wearing it...and it might be my last. I think it's a lovely dress but as I get older, I try to stay away from girly-girly dresses. I attempted to bring a bit sophistication to the look with the strappy heels and the black coat, but it might be time to let her go. What do you guys think?

wearing: ALICE + OLIVIA dress (MORE MY SPEED), benetton coat, thrifted belt, necklace from macy's PRADA HEELS
