high.low.late

The fact that it takes me forever to wear something new is a huge reason I'm not that big on trends. I bought this high-low skirt way back in May when I was in Waikiki, and I didn't wear until Labor Day, not to mention I'm just now getting around to posting it #late. Anyway, I'm not really into the high-low thing anymore and I'm really considering taking it to my seamstress and making it one length...

wearing: OLD NAVY cargo vest, f21 high low skirt (SIMILAR), thrifted belt, diesel heels, TOMS KATHMANDU SUNGLASSES c/o,  MICHAEL KORS TORTOISE WATCH
worn to: labor day festivities

  1. still loving that vest. sigh. so mad I didn't scoop it up when I had the chance.
    the combination is super cute!
I like high-low skirts on other people but feel like I would be over it as soon as I bought one.

  2. Whaaaat?!?! I love the high low hems and this beautiful coral pleated skirt is no exception. Looks great with the vest! I'm not really big on trends either and I'm always horribly slow getting to them

  3. This color palette is just perfection. That tangerine looks lovely on you.
I bought a high-low dress last year and wore it a handful of times, but ending up getting rid of it recently. I think I'm over the high-low hemline, so I totally get your feelings on altering that skirt (although it is great as is).
