Whether you're a skinny minnie, a BBW or somewhere in between we all have issues getting our clothes to fit just the way we want them to. Well ladies, I have the perfect solution for you. eShakti! eShakti is all about customized sizing and I'm in love with this FLORAL JACQUARD FULL SKIRT they sent me!

When I turned 30 I vowed to stay away from girly silhouettes, but I had to go for it when I saw this gorgeous print (which is even more stunning in person).

Not only did they customize the skirt to my height and waist size, they also gave me the option for hem lengths, and of course I went with midi. The quality of this skirt and all of my eShakti pieces are superb. Order from them — you won't be disappointed! And for a limited time, my readers get 10% off with the code "simplychic". Happy shopping!

ESHAKTI CHIC

I've been browsing online and in stores and nothing is really getting me excited. Anyone else feel this way? Everything kind of looks the same, and other than bomber jackets and sneakers I'm not really excited about any trends I'm seeing.
With all the holiday festivities coming up I'm so happy for unique online boutiques like eShakti that get me inspired and excited about dressing up.

I LOVE this dress! Love it! And I got so many compliments when I wore it to an event at one of my favorite restaurants a couple of weeks ago. The color is perfect for this time of year and because eShakti
lets you customize for your body and change the neckline, hemline and sleeve type, the fit is always perfect!

I have a couple of more dressy to very dressy occasions coming up and I'm eyeing these beauties:

Because eShakti items are so unique, they don't stay around for long and unfortnetly my dress has sold out, but you can shop all DRESSES HERE.

ESHAKTI: WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?

You all know I am a fan of eShakti (check out all of my posts HERE) and if you think it couldn't get better than cute, customized, affordable clothing, you my friend are wrong. First let me start off by saying eShakti now carries one of my favorite clothing items on the planet — JUMPSUITS!!!!

Secondly, they now make it easier for you to shop by providing you with thematic categories to shop from.

CONTEMPORARY

And lastly, if you create an account you'll get a $30 shopping credit and for this weekend only if you use the code SIMPLYCHIC35, you'll get $35 off your order!

So what's your favorite item? What style do you most identify with — Contemporary, Bohemian or Retro Modern? I see a bit of my schizophrenic style in all 3 :) Maybe the next theme will be Urban Chic or Cali Cool!

When I got dressed on Sunday morning, I thought to myself "there is nothing about this that says Easter". But you know how it is when you really want to wear something, and don't have time to change even if you wanted to?

The lovely folks at eShakti sent this dress to me ages ago, and there was never a good time to wear it because I rarely dress up. My office is casual and my church is casual, so I knew Easter Sunday needed to be the occasion to wear it. Luckily it rained a lot, and I didn't feel so bad about not being in bright colors.

WEDDING GUEST CHIC

So, you remember in my last post I mentioned I didn't wear the heart dress to my cousin's wedding? Well, instead I ended up shopping in my closet and wearing this floral brocade skirt I received c/o of eShakti over a year ago. I thought it would be too warm and heavy for a July outdoor wedding in LA, but it worked out just fine! Happy Monday.

i want to give-a-way

As I stated in my last post, I'm doing a giveaway!!! I've been thinking about doing one for awhile now and lately there were so many signs saying there's no time like the present. For starters, I always knew what I was going to giveaway and the company who makes the item, contacted me recently with a special offer for my readers that I will get to later. I'm almost at 200 followers which is something to celebrate, and last but certainly not least, I just won something via a giveaway over at BUDGET CHIC (will show it off when it gets here), so I am true testament that giveaways are totally worth it. On to the goodies...

These brass bangles from eShakti are so well made and so versatile.
Wear them with your favorite watch
Or bracelet

eta...several people have told me they don't have a FB page (I thought I was the only one) so I've tweaked the details a bit :)

spring arrival

Spring is not really one of my favorite seasons, but I'm happy it's here and I'm especially happy eShakti sent me this dress from their Spring collection. It's quirky and cute with the pears, but classic and sophisticated because of the shape. Love that juxtaposition! O, and it looks vintage which is always a good thing and it's also right on time for Easter Sunday :)

wearing: eShakti dress, zara trench, MOJO MOXY LOREN PUMPS,JEWELMINT EARRINGS
worn to: palm sunday or easter sunday mass (undecided)

65 & sunny

I feel awful bragging about the weather in California when the East Coast is being slammed by snow and sleet and single digit temps, but my goodness, it's beautiful here! The weather is actual better than when I first moved back to the Bay Area in August of last year. It's hard to be unhappy when the sun is shining :)

Next post, I am giving away one of the items in this post, so stay tuned, and please don't forget to LIKE me on FACEBOOK.

colorful

Outside of challenges does your blog ever dictate what you wear? This morning when I got dressed I did so with the mindset "haven't been showing much color on the blog lately". There were a ton of colorful options to choose from, but this is what I came up with...
zara blazer, f21 top & jeggings
english laundry sunnies, michael kors watch
revlon kiss me coral & mac ruby woo lipsticks, opi cajun shrimp polish
carlos santana pumps, thrifted clutch, eshakti earrings
