What a weekend!! First off after weeks of being in the 40’s & 50’s a.k.a FREEZING by Cali standards, we were blessed with 60’s and 70’s all weekend and that just set the tone for a fabulous weekend that went a little something like this:
A) Woke up Saturday morning and signed the lease on my new place and this beautiful boardwalk just happens to be my new backyard!
B) Then headed to a local park to volunteer on the National Day of Service. I thought I would be serving food to the homeless, but instead I was enlisted to talk to people as they stood in line for food and take notes as they told me their story….perfect for me because I love to write and I love to listen.
C) Sunday night I attempted to party hard (but frankly I'm getting too old to keep up with the youngsters) because what else are you going to do when the 49ers are headed to the Super Bowl!!!
D) And yesterday I was glued to the television on an extra special MLK Day watching the inauguration coverage of President Barak Obama.
Today, I’m back to work and counting down the days to Friday...
