I love the Bay Area and Northern California, but we are definitely in short supply of warm beaches, and if you live in San Francisco, warm weather in general. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but because of the mild temps, we have warm blood. If the forecast says 65 and sunny that means bring out the short shorts and tank tops because it's gonna be hot ;) On this particular day my journey started at a very chilly 6:00 a.m., so I left the daisy dukes and bikini top at home and opted for a maxi skirt and crocheted sweater instead.
WEARING: gap sweater (OASAP YELLOW CROCHETED SWEATER, urban outfitters skirt (SIMILAR,SIMILAR), furla bag (VERY SIMILAR), nordstrom necklace

let's get social
The only two times I went to San Fran I vastly underestimated the weather. In November, I brought shorts and tank tops (hey, I'm from Colorado!), thinking it would be hot comparatively. Not so much. In July, I also brought only shorts and tank tops thinking it would be boiling. It was 68 the whole time and I was freezing! I was actually saying "get me back to Colorado where it's WARM!" LOL Love the maxi skirt here!
ReplyDeleteLoving this look. The color combos are great. I love yellow with black and white! Wish I lived near a beach...warm or cold, lol!

Gorgeous beach look, never thought of a sweater like this, but i might now. :)
ReplyDeleteLiving close to the sea is the best. It's a little warmer in my neck of the woods though, so I'd be in a coat at 65 degrees. That's a great color combination for you.
