top knot

If you follow me on TWITTER, you know that I was debating on whether the high bun is for me since I already look pretty young. Well, I finally wore it out and kinda loved it.
I think the fact that it wasn't so high (b/c I could only manage to get it to this height) and I wore a blazer somewhat matured the look, which is exactly what I needed :)
Anyway, I don't think it'll be a daily or weekly 'do for me, but I will incorporate it into my look from time to time.
Also, will be incorporating these velvet stirrups in my look more often. I've had them since last summer and have yet to put them to really good use...

    Actually, I think the bun makes you look more mature. This is my signature hair "do". I mean before it was in style I rocked the bun. Most would say back in the day it was the lazy girl's style but now it is HOT!! So glad for that! haha Your blazer is so cute. I need to rock my peach blazer too! ;-) Kiah

    I agree that it actually makes you look more mature. I like high buns too but my hair isn't as full or long so I have to use extensions. I did that this weekend and I think I like it but like you said, not for everyday purposes. I'm on the hunt for shoes similar to what you have on to go with my graduation dress!

    OK..I really love the outfit but mostly I love the BUN!!! GIRL!! it looks awesome on you.
    As you know from my blog I wear a bun almost everyday lol...I am so lazy when it comes to my hair...but buns are so easy and look so pulled together/chic.

    cute look, the hair, the dope blazer- that is so your color girl- the stirrups, and shoes. A+. Sometimes a little change is all we need to spice it up, I'm def due for a hair change!
