all about the details
Believe it or not, sometimes I get more excited about the lining of a coat or jacket or bag than I do the actual item. Definitely the case for this Rachel by Rachel Roy blazer. If I hadn't fallen in love with the beautiful colors in the watercolor print AND if she weren't so incredibly sweet the day I met her (read about that day HERE) this blazer never would have made it to my closet, but I am glad it did!
wearing: rachel roy blazer, mossimo top, urban pants, dolce vita boots, elliott luca bag
worn: out lounging

it's so interesting that you like linings, it kind of excites me too when a great piece has an awesome lining. I have a faux fur leopard jacket that has a gold lining that I absolutely love. Anyway, you look great. Love the zipper details on your blazer.
ReplyDeleteclothes are cute
I truly understand what you mean. My mum had a black blazer with this beautiful pastel silk lining. It adds so much interest and character to a piece.
ReplyDeleteYou are not the only one who falls for a fun lining. It's like a surprise on the inside. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Rachel Roy's designs and it is great to hear that she's nice in person. That always make me want to support the designer even more.
am totally coveting your blazer!! http://fashionablenotebook.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteSo you're class and fierce. I like the hot pink top. It goes well with your skin tone. And the coat, could it be worn inside-out as well? Thanks for sharing the recipe below, and drop by me too when you have time.
ReplyDeleteCiao.
