breaking all the rules

Not only did I wait until after Labor Day to break out my white jeans...

I waited for the official end of summer and second day of fall!!!

Who made up that silly little rule anyway?

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine consisted of shopping, studying, studying, studying and more shopping to treat myself for all the studying :)

wearing: f21 necklace, thrifted (j crew) blouse, urban jeans, 9west boots
worn to: class

  1. I love the white pants with the boots! FOr the last two days I've been rocking loud summer colors and I'm the one complaining about "fall" getting here!

  2. You look great! I love how you fallerized your white jeans! They only made that rule for people who abuse the use of white in fall and winter. (The same people who abuse it in Spring and Summer. YOu know the ones who wear white with patterned underwear.)

  3. According to some magazines-people who wear white after Labor Day are innovative, creative, and bold. You go girl!!

  16. I love it!!! And agree with you- fashion rules are definitely meant to be broken (if you can do it fashionably, of course). And you pulled it fabulously.

  17. Rules are meant to be broken! Love that you balanced everything out with the blue shirt.
Shopping does sound like a nice reward to all that hard work!

    Have a lovely week.

  18. I hate that rule too. I feel like I can get away with it more too living in Florida. I had a musician friend of mine come from LA to work at an event I was organizing and he totally made fun of me for wearing white jeans lol. I'm like WHAT?! I'm in a hotel all weekend anyway who cares about the season.
