I’m a once a quarter/special occasion party girl mainly because I am high maintenance when it comes to clubbing. I don’t want to wait in line. I want a place to put my purse and rest my feet. I don’t want to wave my hand for 10 minutes trying to get the bartenders attention and I don’t want to get bumped into as people pretend they don’t see my 5’2” petite frame. So the only way to avoid all of this is bottle service and we know that can get pricey, so as I said to start, I’m a once a quarter/special occasion party girl.
For this reason, I typically don’t buy
“club clothes”. For what I do on the weekends, (lounges, dinners, day parties
etc.) I don’t need a special wardrobe. So when I saw this dress on the clearance rack at Urban Outfitters, I almost left it. But I’m so glad I didn’t! Nearly a
year after I bought it, I dug it out of my closet (still in the bag) for my
friend’s birthday party and I kinda love it!

Love the upper back cut and the pattern, very club appropriate. When you dont want something too short.
ReplyDeleteI kinda love it too. Not a fan of side splits but the cutout back and way it fits you is perfection. Thought I was the only one who didn't club but I will do a house party or a good restaurant with live music.

ReplyDeleteSpoken like a true fashionista. That's how one knows when the penchant for shopping is so great...where the woman doesn't rest on her shopping laurels. Place the bag in the closet and on to the next one.
Really love this dress. The back is my fave! I am not a fan of clubs, or any other event that forces me to stand for long periods of time...and let's not talk about being squashed next to strangers. I'll pass, lol!
