I'm not sure why it took me almost 30 years to go to my first crab feed, but I am so glad that I finally got to go. It really doesn't get much better than buckets of crab at your disposal. After my belly was full and my cholesterol was high, I hosted a mini cocktail party. I'm a a vodka tonic or vodka lime juice kind of girl so coming up with a yummy cocktail or two was a challenge, but I think I did alright. I learned that you can't go wrong with sweet & sour. Recipe below...
wearing: j crew cardigan, old navy sweater, urban pants, MOJO MOXY LOREN PUMPS, scarf from tj maxx
worn to: crab feed
A Strawberry Cocktail
*1 or 1.5 part(s) vodka depending on your taste and tolerance
*1 part sweet & sour
*muddled fresh strawberries
*big splash of strawberry nectar
mix all ingredients along with some ice in a shaker and serve in a chilled martini class
for an alternate recipe replace nectar with sprite and leave out the muddled strawberries
ENJOY!
