In honor of Thanksgiving, I am doing my first edition of Chic Chef! First up, Peach & Pear Cobbler.
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 cup bisquick
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
½ teaspoon of brown sugar
1 can (29 ounces) sliced peaches, drained (not completely)
1 can (15 1/4 ounces) sliced pears, drained (not completely)
½ cup (1 stick) butter or margarine melted
WHAT YOU DO:
Heat oven to 375
*Add Bisquick to an ungreased baking dish
*Add milk, nutmeg and make sure to stir thoroughly (shouldn't’t have any lumps)
*Add melted butter and also mix in well
*In a separate bowl add pears, peaches (mostly drained but leave a bit of juice) sugar, and mix well
*Sprinkle a bit of nutmeg, cinnamon, and brown sugar on top of Bisquick mixture (batter)
*Place the peaches and pears mixture on top of batter making sure to cover the whole surface
*Bake for 60 minutes, should be a golden brown color
*Enjoy
