As happy as I am that warm weather is finally here, it always takes a while for me to let go of my boots :-/

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I treated myself to a yummy smoothie (berry punch with a fiber blend) from Smoothie King, worked out because it's almost pool/beach season and read the first chapter of a great book (If You Have to Cry, Go Outside And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You) while sitting in Borders with the rest of the people who are too cheap to make the purchase. Ha! I will be purchasing this book as soon as I get a 30% off coupon in my e-mail.

Anyway, speaking of mothers, I entered my mom in the Urban Outfitters "Was Your Mom a Style Icon" contest, and this is the picture I submitted. DIVA!

  8. Your mom is gorgeous! Good luck to you in the contest-- tell her we all think she's one stylish lady. :)

Also, no reason to give up your boots just yet! I'm sure those would look adorable with a flirty dress for quite a bit longer!

You should totally turn your employers on to Kaboodle. It has a lot of features that would be great for raising awareness of your products. Visa just released something similar called "Rightcliq," but I haven't had enough experience with it yet to recommend yay or nay.

    Thanks for your comments!

  11. I see the similarities in you and your mother. Definite class, both ways.

I feel you on not wanting to let go of the boots in Spring weather - I struggle with saying goodbye to my Polo boots and Rockports, myself.

    Leopard cardi - chic.
