HOLIDAY DRESSING

When it comes to holiday dressing, I am a repeat offender. Cuff me :-/ I pretty much attend the same holiday parties and events and I rotate several pieces in my closet that then go back into hibernation come January 1.  But, with this outfit, I did splurge on something new. Can you guess what it is? Yep, the J CREW STATEMENT NECKLACE. I think it's the icing on the cake.

VIVA LAS VEGAS

I spent last weekend in Vegas and if you've been to Vegas once you've been a million times. No matter how many new restaurants, hotels, clubs etc pop up, Vegas is still the same at it's core. I had planned on trying to do Vegas the un-Vegas way i.e. no gambling, no partying but it rained the whole time I was there (hence the blog photos in the hotel hallway) and made navigation a bit tricky, but it was nice to getaway nonetheless.

1) Eat at SEA: THE THAI EXPERIENCE (best Thai food I've ever had)

 Random question of the day...what do you wear when you run errands? Are you the girl in leggings and sneakers, heels and skinny jeans or somewhere in between? 

You will rarely find me in sneakers and you definitely won't find me running around Target in stilettos, so I guess I am somewhat in between. I like to be comfortable but I always like to be presentable.

JEWELS AND JEWEL TONES

As I mentioned on INSTAGRAM I got a chance to see an early screening of the Best Man Holiday last week, and it far, far exceeded my expectations. I hope everyone went out and supported it this weekend, but I will reluctantly bite my tongue and not say anything more and ruin it for those who haven't. Man o man...we will leave it at that. 

This J. Crew bejeweled color block sweater was love at first sight as were these Jean Michel Cazabat pumps. Thanks to a 30TH BIRTHDAY back in August, I was able to cross both of them off my wish list. And as much as I wear both of them, I can't believe they are just making their blog debut.

LOVE AFFAIR

My not so secret love affair with Anthropologie has been going on for over 10 years. We took a few breaks because of money issues (grad school) and distance (no stores close to my house) and we had a little disagreement earlier this summer because of THIS DRESS (completely sold out in my size). But now we are back at it and stronger than ever.
