all about the details

Believe it or not, sometimes I get more excited about the lining of a coat or jacket or bag than I do the actual item. Definitely the case for this Rachel by Rachel Roy blazer. If I hadn't fallen in love with the beautiful colors in the watercolor print AND if she weren't so incredibly sweet the day I met her (read about that day HERE) this blazer never would have made it to my closet, but I am glad it did!

loving leopard...and scarves

If you can't tell from this post and the last, I have a thing for leopard :) Shoes, tops, umbrellas, you name it, I've got it.
I also have a thing for scarves. During fall and winter (and hopefully year round now that I am in a more mild climate), it is the one accessory I can not live without.
A good scarf takes your outfit a long way when your style is a bit more low key like mine tends to be.

OMG!!!!

I checked out Usher & Trey Songz in concert on the OMG tour this weekend.
It was definitely good times! Usher is a true performer and Trey Songz is good for the eyes (and sounds great live too).
I like to rock it out when I go to concerts and what better way to do that than in velvet pants and a leopord bodysuit.

fall who?

I returned home from 40/50 degree temps in Boston to 70/80 degree temps in Cali. What a nice welcome home! It's cooled down to the mid 60's now, but not before I got a chance to debut my Zara high waisted shorts. I bought them back in Septemeber and I aksed my mom was it silly to buy shorts in the fall, and she said "You can wear shorts year 'round here". Mom knows best ;)

I also got a chance to debut these woven beauties by Carlos Santana...$19.99 from Ross. I went in to buy the cheapest, ugliest pj's I could find and these shoes were staring me in my face as I made way back to intimates. It was fate and love at first sight.

boston in pictures

Wouldn't be a trip to Boston with out some chowda!
Me and a man I don't know...

This was next to the statue, but I don't think that the mystery man is Larry Bird, is it?

Me in my favorite new area...Becon Hill.

If I owned one of these brownstones, you would never get me off this hill.

Besides the beautiful scenery, desert at FINALE was definitely a highlight of the trip.

The end :) Yum!

kicking leaves

Boston was amazing as always.

I've said it a million times, but of all the cities I've visited in the U.S., I can't think of any that compares to the beauty of Boston.

I've been before in October, but for some reason, this time I couldn't stop gawking over the gorgeous fall foliage.

I mean seriously, how beautiful is this?

I was so fixated on capturing the beauty of the city, I didn't really have my fashion blogger cap on, so I don't have many outfit pics to show, but I will share some more pictures from the trip in the next post or two.
